(Costa Mesa, CA) For the third Orange Empire Conference match in a row, the Mt. SAC Women's Golf team has finished fifth at the Costa Mesa Country Club course Monday September 27.

Match No. 3, hosted by Orange Coast College, was held on the Mesa Linda course and has a Par-70.

Saddleback, which remains in first place in the conference, was first with a team score of 318.

The Gauchos were followed by: OCC, 2nd (339), College of the Desert, 3rd (353), Cuyamaca, 4th (372), Mt. SAC, 5th (393), Mt. San Jacinto, 6th (414), and Fullerton, 7th (425).

The low Medalist for the event was Meah Collins of OCC with a 2-over-par, 72.

Mt. SAC was led by Katerina Cervantes with an 88. Payton Dawson and Jule Gutierrez shot an even 100 and Emilia Hickman finished with a 105.

Next up for the Mounties is the OEC Neutral match at Menifee Lakes Country Club Wednesday, October 6.
