Mountie Women Golf Team Finishes Third at Conference Match at LA Royal Vista GC

Walnut, CA) The Mt. SAC Women's Golf team, in the Orange Empire Conference opening match, finished third at the LA Royal Vista Golf Course.

The Mountie women were 15 strokes behind second place Saddleback College with a team score of 345 on the Par 71 course.

Irvine Valley College won the first of six OEC matches with a 341 score. The low medalist came from Fullerton, which hosted the match, with a 78.

Mt. SAC was led by freshman Alexandra Le Mons with a team-low 86, followed by Mackenzie Kelly (87) and Brianna Pulido (91).

The OEC match No. 2 will take place this Wednesday, September 20 at the Costa Mesa Country Club (Mesa Linda) hosted by Orange Coast College.

The Mounties will then travel to Morro Bay Sunday, September 24 for a two-day North/South Invitational at the Morro Bay Golf Course.
