(Pasadena, CA) Dailani Richardson scored a game-high 20 points to lead Mt. San Antonio College to a 69-62 South Coast Conference North Division win over host Pasadena City College (16-10, 5-2) on Friday, Feb. 16. The win is the Mounties 19th straight and secures the division title.
Aanisah Moncrief added 12 points for Mt. SAC (23-2, 6-0) while teammate Daisia Mitchell scored 11, grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds, and led all players with eight assists and five steals.
The Mounties outrebounded the Lancers, 49-45, and outscored them in bench points, 18-0. Alana Diaz led Mt. SAC in bench scoring with eight points.
Ranked No. 2 in the state, the Mounties will take a break from SCC North play and travel to Riverside City College (13-12) for a non-conference game on Monday, Feb. 19, at 1:30 p.m. Divisional play will resume when the Mounties visit Rio Hondo College (4-22, 1-5) on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m. Mt. SAC defeated the Roadrunners, 82-44, back on Feb. 2.
