(Los Angeles, CA) In a South Coast Conference North Division matchup, Mt. San Antonio College (17-3, 3-0) handed host Los Angeles Trade Tech (9-11, 0-2) a 64-58 defeat on Wednesday night to run its win streak to 10 games.

Mina Guevara-Goss led the Mounties with 13 points while teammates Savanna Norfleet and Allyah Cartajena added 12 and 10 points, respectively. Norfleet also grabbed a team-high eight rebounds as Cartajena tallied seven.

The Beavers' Janae Turner led all players with 24 points as teammate Tilena Carter grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds.

Ranked No. 2 in the Jan. 24 California Community College Women's Basketball Coaches Association South Region Poll, Mt. SAC will play a non-conference game at Victor Valley College (13-4) on Friday, Jan. 28, at 6 p.m. The matchup was rescheduled from Dec. 28 due to COVID-19 concerns and protocol. SCC North play resumes for the Mounties on Wednesday, Feb. 2, at No. 5 East Los Angeles College (14-5, 2-0), at 7 p.m.
