Mountie Men's Cross Country Dominates Mt. SAC XC Invite, Galindo Claims Top Spot

(Walnut, CA) In a field of 15 teams, Mt. San Antonio College secured first place with 23 points at the 2023 Mt. SAC Cross Country Invite. Hartnell College (79 points) and Glendale College (89 points) finished in second and third place, respectively.

Among a field of 171 competitors, Mountie runners claimed six of the top 10 slots, 11 of the top 20, and 15 of the top 30 positions

The top-10 finishers on the four-mile course at Mt. SAC included Jordan Galindo (1st place, 21:08.6), Aiden Gomez (4th, 21:21.3), Christian De Loye (5th, 21:23.2), Jonathan Aguilar (7th, 21:31.4), Noah Chairez (8th, 21:38.7), and Andrew Villeda (10th, 21:51.1).

Louis Torres (12th, 21:55.9), Isaac Torres (14th, 21:59.4), Manuel Debarros (16th, 22:05.9), Jordan Berkley (17th, 22:12.6), and Jude Enriquez (20th, 22:16.0) completed the top-20 Mountie placings.

Mt. SAC will take a couple of weeks off to prepare for the South Coast Conference Championships at Ken Malloy Regional Park in Harbor City on Friday, Oct. 27.
