(Fresno, CA) Behind top-15 finishes by Daniel Abdala (20:44.9, 6th place) and Zackary Alexander (20:53.0, 11th), the Mt. SAC Men's Cross Country Team placed third at the California Community College Athletic Association State Championships at Woodward Park in Fresno on Saturday, Nov. 23. With 141 points, the Mounties finished behind San Diego Mesa (37 points) and American River (65).

Vicente Huerta (21:30.0, 35th place), Lorenzo Orozco (21:49.9, 52nd), and Isaiah Wilson (21:50.0, 53rd) rounded out the top-60 finishers for Mt. SAC in a field of 172 runners.
