(Huntington Beach, CA) With a time of 22:14.1, Drake Maloney placed 15th out of a field of 158, to lead the Mt. SAC Men's Cross Country Team at the 2019 Golden West Central Park Classic, on Friday.  The Mounties scored 118 points (5-man score) to take third-place as a team.  

Orange Coast College took the top spot with 47 points, while Riverside took second with 75 points.

Mt. SAC runners placing in the top-30 included John Martinez Vasquez (22:33.5, 23rd place), Daniel Martinez (22:33.8, 24th), and Jared Moradian (22:38.7, 27th).

Next up for the Mounties is The Masters University Mustang Challenge at Central Park in Santa Clarita, on Saturday, Sept. 28, at 9 a.m.
