(Long Beach, CA) With a chance to win the South Coast Conference, the Mt. SAC Men's Water Polo fell to host Long Beach City College, 9-7, Wednesday (Oct. 26).

LBCC wins the SCC regular season crown with a 5-0 record, while Mt. SAC (12-13, 4-1) finishes as conference runner-up.

Zack Ewing scored a goal for the Mounties halfway through the third period, to lead 7-5.

The Vikings shut down Mt. SAC the rest of the way, scoring four unanswered goals.

Leading the way for Mt. SAC was Brandon Fabrega with four goals.

The Mounties will now travel to Chula Vista for a pair of games in the Southwestern College Tournament. They will play against Grossmont on Friday and host Southwestern on Saturday.
