Mountie Men's Water Polo win three games at Cuesta Tourney, score 45 goals

(San Luis Obispo, CA) The Mt. SAC Men's Water Polo team traveled north to San Luis Obispo, (Saturday, Oct. 16) and swept three games, scoring 45 goals in the Arena Cuesta II Tournament.

The Mounties have now won their last five games in a row and seven of their last eight, heading into the last two weeks of the regular season.

The three wins at Cuesta came against Las Positas College, 22-4, Merced, 15-8, and Sierra, 8-7.

Leading the way in the three games was Luke Noblett with 12 goals, followed by Adam Dow (8), Diego Lopez (7), Trevor Ingersoll (6), Aidan Murphy (5), and Ivan Morales with three.

In goal for the Mounties, Noah Stark played in all three games, making 26 saves, PV Pignotti had two saves in two games and Kyle Leimbach had two saves in one game.

Mt. SAC travels to Cerritos (10-7, 3-1) for an important South Coast Conference game Wednesday, October 20.
