Noblett scores five goals to lead the Mounties to an 18-6 win over El Camino

(Walnut, CA) Freshman Luke Noblett scored five goals and led the Mt. SAC Men's Water Polo team to an 18-6 victory over visiting El Camino Wednesday (October 13) in a South Coast Conference game.

With the win, the Mounties improved to 6-12 overall and 3-0 in the conference.

Mt. SAC remains a game behind first-place Long Beach City College (15-3, 4-0).

Adam Dow added four goals, along with three from Aidan Murphy. The Mounties split the goalie duties among Noah Stark (7 Saves), PV Pagnotti (4 Saves), and Kyle Leimbach (2 Saves).

After an 8-0 first-period start, with Dow scoring three of his four goals, the Mounties cruised to victory, outscoring the Warriors, 10-6, the rest of the way.

The Mounties, who are winners of four of the last five games, will head north to play in the Arena Cuesta II Tournament in San Luis Obispo Saturday (October 16).

The Mounties, who will be one of 11 teams in the tourney, play three games on Saturday – 11:50 vs. Modesto, 2:00 vs. Merced, and 5:15 vs. Las Positas.
