Walnut, Calif. – In a dominant showing on the court, the Mt. SAC Men's Tennis Team secured their first sweep of the season with a 9-0 victory over College of the Desert Roadrunners on February 13. Mt. SAC improves to 3-1 overall, while Desert continues its search for a first win at 0-4.

Sage Romejko started things off with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Amoi Ishikawa. Jarred Millian followed with a steady 6-4, 6-1 victory, and Zayniddian Khusanov handled his matchup 6-1, 6-3 to keep the momentum rolling.

The dominance continued in the bottom half of the lineup. Dominick Anderson cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 win, Zhang Yu battled through a competitive first set before pulling away 7-5, 6-1, and Abram Llernas capped singles play with a 6-1, 6-1 performance.

In doubles, Ben Villalobos and Rick Sun delivered an impressive 8-0 shutout. Micah Welch and Romejko added another win, and Khusanov paired with Millian to complete the sweep with another 8-0 blanking.

Mt. SAC was scheduled to host San Diego City Knights on Tuesday, February 17, but the match has been postponed due to rain. Be sure to check the website for schedule updates as weather permits.
