Mt. SAC Men's Tennis Players Compete at CCCAA Tennis State Championships

(Walnut, CA) - The Mt. San Antonio College men's tennis team is proud to announce that two of its players, Lucas Vanzee and Kaden Salvador, represented the college at the CCCAA Tennis Individual State Championships. The single-elimination tournament was held at Ojai, California from April 27th to April 30th, featuring some of the best collegiate tennis players in the state.

Sophomore Lucas Vanzee put up a valiant effort in his match against Mirtorabi from Foothill College but unfortunately came out on the losing end, 7-5, 6-2.

Freshman Kaden Salvador, son of former head tennis coach Sophie Salvador, gave it his all but was unable to make it out of the first round, losing to Lin from American River 6-2, 6-3.

Despite the results, the Mt. SAC men's tennis team is proud of both Vanzee and Salvador for representing the college at the state championships. The team is confident that they will continue to work hard and improve, and looks forward to their future successes on the court.
