(Walnut, CA) In its home opener of the season, the Mt. SAC Men's Tennis team (1-1) was defeated, 7-2, by Ventura College (1-3) on Thursday, April 22.

For the Mounties, Reid Lizardo was the only player to win his singles match, defeating the Pirates' Brodie Sodersten, 6-4, 6-4.

On the doubles side, Mt. SAC's team of Tommy Folsom/Lucas VanZee won its game against Ventura's Regnar Madarang/Ryan Lam, 8-5.

The Mounties hit the road for a contest with Mt. San Jacinto (0-0) on Friday, April 23.
