Walnut, Calif. – The Mt. SAC Men's Soccer Team continues to power through the season, currently holding an impressive 11-3-5 overall record and finishing conference play at 7-0-2. As the team gears up for the playoffs, several Mounties earned top recognition from the South Coast Conference North Division for their standout performances.

Cody Lindeman was named Goalkeeper of the Year, recording 45 saves, 7 wins, and 3 ties, while allowing just 13 goals and posting a remarkable .776 save percentage over 1,080 minutes of play.

Brody Quinzon earned Defensive Player of the Year honors, helping the Mounties secure eight shutouts this season.

Midfielder Rafael Avalos was named Offensive Player of the Year, tallying 6 goals and 5 assists to power Mt. SAC's attacking play.

Several Mounties were also recognized on the All-Conference teams. Steven Torres, Nathan Nunez, Fabian Barajas, and Alexis Gomez were named to the First Team All-Conference, while Julian Vazquez, Alfonso Ramirez, Hunter Lemos, and David Garcia earned Second Team All-Conference honors, highlighting the team's depth and talent across the roster.

Adding to the accolades, Juan Sanchez was named Coach of the Year as Mt. SAC claimed the SCC North Division Conference Championship.

The Mounties enter the 3C2A SoCal Regionals as the No. 7 seed and received a first-round bye. They will host the winner of Tuesday's matchup between San Bernardino Valley (13-6-2) and Moorpark (9-6-5) on Saturday, November 22. Let's go, Mounties!
