
Walnut, Calif. – The Mt. SAC Men's Soccer Team wrapped up the regular season on Tuesday, November 5, with a 0-0 draw against Long Beach City College, clinching their eighth consecutive South Coast Conference North Division championship.
With this tie, the Mounties finished the season with an overall record of 13-2-4 and a conference mark of 6-2-1. The draw also marked the end of the regular season for Long Beach City College, who finished with a 14-3-2 overall record and 5-2-2 in conference play.
Goalkeeper Alex Ledesma was crucial in keeping the game scoreless, recording four key saves to preserve the tie.
With the division title secured, the Mounties now turn their focus to the South Coast Conference Tournament, which begins this Friday, November 8. Mt. SAC will face Los Angeles City College in the first round. LACC finished the regular season with a 10-6-4 overall record and a 4-4-1 mark in conference play. The game is scheduled for 2:00 PM at Mt. SAC's campus.
