Mounties Men’s Soccer Blanks Compton College with 3-0 Victory

In what continues to be a dominant season, the Mt. SAC Men's Soccer Team adds another win to their record after defeating Compton College 3-0 on Friday, October 11.
 
Just before halftime, Allan Rosales found the back of the net in the 45th minute, giving the Mounties a 1-0 lead. The momentum continued into the second half when Moises Prado doubled the advantage in the 69th minute with an assist from Rosales. Christopher Chavez sealed the victory with a third goal in the 79th minute, assisted by Saul Hernandez.
 
Goalkeeper Alex Ledesma was a standout performer, recording four saves and leaving Compton unable to capitalize on offense.
 
With this victory, the Mounties improve their overall record to 9-0-3, maintaining the top spot in the South Coast Conference North with a 2-0 record. Compton now holds a record of 5-3-2 and is 1-1 in conference play.
 
Next up, the Mt. SAC Men's Soccer Team will face off against Cerritos College on Tuesday, October 15, at 4:00 PM.
