The Mt. SAC Men's Soccer Team played a hard-fought match against Phoenix College on Monday, September 2. With each team battling for the win, the game resulted in a 2-2 tie.
Phoenix College took an early lead in the 16th minute, but Mt. SAC responded with a goal from defender Felipe Cobian in the 38th minute, leveling the score at 1-1. In the second half, Kenneth Flores put Mt. SAC ahead with a goal in the 58th minute, assisted by Chris Martinez. However, Phoenix College refused to give up and scored again in the 89th minute, resulting in the final score of 2-2.
Goalkeeper, Alex Ledesma, made 8 crucial saves throughout the match to keep their opponents at bay.
The Mt. SAC Men's Soccer Team will look to come back with a win as they return home to face San Bernardino Valley on Thursday, September 5, at 5:00 PM.
