(Long Beach, CA) Top seed El Camino College (19-1) handed No. 2 seed Mt. San Antonio College (7-5-9) a 3-0 defeat in the South Coast Conference Tournament championship on Friday, Nov. 10, at Long Beach City College.
Coming into the game, the SCC South Division-winning Warriors were ranked No. 2 in the most recent California Community College Sports Information Association poll and the Mounties, who won the North Division title, were ranked No. 19.
In 90 minutes, goalie Daniel Ramirez made two saves for Mt. SAC.
The Mounties now await the announcement of the 3C2A South Regional playoff pairings to see if their season will continue.
