(Norwalk, CA) In a battle of unbeaten, host Cerritos College (13-0-3, 4-0-2) and Mt. SAC (13-0-2, 4-0-1) played to a 1-1 tie in a South Coast Conference match on Friday afternoon.

Gerardo Cazares scored the only goal of the match for the Mounties on an assist from Angel Santoyo at the 55:54 mark to take the lead, 1-0. The Falcons returned the favor with a goal by Alexis Vera at the 59:09 point to even the score.

Goalkeeper Alain Hernandez had a save in 90 minutes for Mt. SAC.

Rio Hondo College (5-7-4, 1-2-2) travels to Walnut to take on the Mounties in an SCC match up on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 7 p.m.
