Seaside, Calif. -- The Mt. SAC Men's Golf Team concluded their 2025 season with a winning record of 48-40, a testament to the hard work, growth, and dedication shown by the entire roster.

One of their standout performances came during the team's low round of the year—an impressive 463 shot during SoCal Regionals at Los Serranos Country Club—which put Mt. SAC in strong contention for a berth in the 3C2A State Championship. Unfortunately, the team fell just a few strokes short in the second round of qualifying, narrowly missing the final spot for the state tournament.

Despite the team falling short of advancing, three individual players earned the honor of representing Mt. SAC at the state level: Hayden Beltran, Spencer Ramirez, and Jonathan Melton. In addition, Cameron Miller was selected as the second alternate, showcasing the depth and talent within the team.

Another highlight of the season was the outstanding performance of team captain Jacob Riegg, who finished with a stroke average of 75.2. His consistent play earned him a well-deserved spot on the Second Team All-Conference, a reflection of his leadership and impact throughout the season.

Looking ahead, the Mt. SAC Men's Golf Team is in a strong position for 2026, with four returning players set to bring valuable experience and momentum into next year.
