(Chino Hills, CA) The Mt. SAC Men's Golf team placed sixth in the Orange Empire Conference Finals on Monday (April 24) and qualified for the upcoming CCCAA Southern California Regionals.

The Mounties, who will compete in the So Cal's on Monday (May 8) at Industry Hills Golf Club, opened the first of two rounds on the day with a team score of 391 on the Par-74 south course. The afternoon north course round saw the Mounties card a team score of 380.

Leading the way for Mt. SAC was Ethan Thomas with a 68 (north course) and a 75 (south course), which was third overall on the day. Teammate Brandon Winters also carded a 74,(n), 75(s), followed by Eric Fernandez 80(n), 79(s), Brandon Shih 81(s), Kobe Trujillo 85(n), 81(s) and Keefe Pantayatiwong 78(n) 84(s).
