(Costa Mesa, CA) The Mt. SAC Men's Golf team recently finished in fifth place in an Orange Empire Conference match at the par 72 Costa Mesa Country Club.

Freshman David Gillette, who shot his best score of the season, led the Mounties with a 75.

Mt. SAC totaled a team score of 385, eight shots behind second-place Cypress College.

Mt. SAC remained in fifth place in the OEC, with Riverside City College leading the pack with a 25-5 record.

Other scores for the Mounties in the match were: (FR) Cole Albert, 76; (FR) Curtis Ashton, 77; (SO) James Hochsprung, 78; (SO) Jasper Braga, 79; (FR) Dylan Stone, 80.

Mt. SAC will play in the OEC match #6 on Wednesday at Oak Creek Golf Club in Irvine.
