
Walnut, Calif. –The Mt. San Antonio College Men's Basketball Team had a strong showing in the 2024-2025 All-South Coast Conference selections, with four standout athletes earning recognition from conference coaches over the weekend.
Three Mounties were named to the prestigious First Team All-South Coast Conference North Division:
- Jaidyn Simpson (Freshman, Guard) – A dominant scorer, Simpson led the team with an impressive 20 points per game, while also averaging 6.3 rebounds and 1.9 steals per contest.
- Jon McCullough (Sophomore, Point Guard) – A versatile playmaker, McCullough averaged 13.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.6 assists, proving to be a key asset on both ends of the court.
- Immanuel Taylor (Sophomore, Point Guard) – Known for his court vision and leadership, Taylor averaged 10 points and 4.4 assists per game, helping guide the team's offensive tempo.
In addition, freshman forward Ryan Wheeler earned Honorable Mention for his strong contributions, averaging 8.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.
These accolades reflect the hard work, talent, and dedication of these athletes throughout the season. Congratulations to all four players on their well-deserved honors and thank you for your commitment to Mt. SAC basketball!
