(Irvine, CA) Mt. San Antonio College (5-5) snapped a three-game losing streak with a 61-53 non-conference win over host Irvine Valley College (3-7) on Friday, Dec. 9. The Mounties never trailed in the game and led by as many as 12 points in the first half.

Nick Hopkins led Mt. SAC with game-highs in points (14) and rebounds (12). Jay Milner and Mikah Gardner added 12 points each in the winning effort.

The Mounties outperformed the Lasers in several key team categories, including rebounds (43-33) and points in the paint (28-20).

Next up for Mt. SAC is a South Coast Conference crossover game at home against Long Beach City College (8-4) on Wednesday, Dec. 14, at 6 p.m.
