(Walnut, CA) After trailing by only eight points in the first half, the Mt. SAC Men's Basketball Team saw the visiting Long Beach City College Vikings outscore the Mounties by 13 in the second half and go on to a 96-75 South Coast Conference crossover game Wednesday (Dec. 18).

The loss drops Mt. SAC to 4-9 overall on the season.

Mt. SAC's Collin Reed (8-16 FGM, 4 RB), who has been averaging 15 points per game, accounted for 23 points, which was his second highest this season. Reed also had a game-high six 3 pointers (6-9). He now has connected for 23 this season, also a team-high.

Adding 20 points was Kalique Mitchell (7-10 FGM, 5-10 FTM, 8 RB, 3 Assists, 1 Steal), while Maliqu Neurell (4-9 FGM, 2-6 3 PM, 7-10 FTM, 5 A, 1 Stl.) had 17 points.

The Mounties take a Christmas break and will travel to Ridgecrest to play Cerro Coso for a New Year's Eve afternoon game at 2:00 pm.
