(Walnut, CA) The Mt. SAC Men's Basketball Team (25-1) clinched its 5th South Coast Conference North Division title in six years, with a tough, 78-75, win over visiting Pasadena City College. 

All seven Mounties sophomores, Stephaun Branch, Samuel Holmes, Blake Hamilton, Malcolm Whittington, Shannon Fowler, Adriel McGee, and Thomas Cowan, contributed to the victory over the rival Lancers in the final home contest.  Branch, lead the Mounties with 17 points, coming off the bench.  Holmes (12 points), Hamilton (11), LaMarcus Thompson (11) and Fowler (10) all scored in the double digits.

The fifth ranked (CCCAA State Poll) Mounties will finish up the regular season and conference play, on the road, against Compton Educational Center this Friday, February 20th, at 5 pm. Post season seedings will be announced on Monday, February 26th, with Mounties expected to host their first play-off game.
