(Long Beach, CA) Behind an 11-run outburst in the seventh inning, host Long Beach City College (22-6, 12-1) put an end to Mt. San Antonio College's four-game winning streak with an 18-5 South Coast Conference win on Tuesday, April 2. The loss drops the Mounties to 17-12 overall and 6-7 in conference play.

Offensive highlights for Mt. SAC included Nick Mejia (2-4, R, RBI), Diego Ortiz (2-2, R, RBI), Gibby Morales (1-3, 2B), Bradyn France (1-1, R, 3B), and Andrew Ramirez (2-4).

Starter Ray Northey (4 IP, 7 H, 4 R, 3 ER, 4 SO) got the loss for the Mounties, falling to 1-3 on the season.

Game 2 of the three-game series will take place at Mt. SAC on Thursday, April 4, at 2 p.m. and Game 3, also in Walnut, on Saturday, April 6, at noon.
