(Walnut, CA) Trailing early, the Mt. SAC Baseball team came from behind and gave Cypress its first loss of the young season, with a 6-4 win Thursday afternoon at Mazmanian Field.

Trailing 3-0, the Mounties scored two runs in the second, fourth and fifth innings to take a 6-4 lead and never looked back to even their record at 3-3.

Freshman pitcher Michael Ortega came in to relieve starter Manny Casillas and picked up his first win of the season.

The left-hander went five innings, scattered four hits, one run and struck out four for the Mounties.

Third baseman Blake Borgogno (2 for 4, 2 R, RBI, SB) and first baseman Cristian Enriquez (2 for 4, 1 R, RBI, Dbl.) led the team with two hits each.

Mt. SAC will continue the four-game series today (April 23) with a doubleheader at Cypress.
