(Walnut, CA) Host Mt. SAC (6-0) remained undefeated this season by handing San Bernardino Valley College (2-5) and 11-0 setback on Tuesday, Feb. 4

Starter Diego Barrera (2-0) got the win for the Mounties, pitching five shutout innings, allowing two hits, and striking out 10.

Top Mt. SAC offensive performances on the night included Connor Bartholomew (2-2, R), Ryan Williams (2-3, 2 R), Art Ruiz (1-2, RBI, 2 R, 2B), Fabian Moran (1-2, RBI, R), Cole Jordan (1-2, R), and Cameron White (2-4, 2 RBI). Bartholomew and Jacob Moreno each had a stolen base.

The Mounties will try to make it seven straight to open the season by hitting the road to take on Riverside City College (3-1) on Wednesday, Feb. 5, at 5 p.m.
