Mt. San Antonio College's Women's Beach Volleyball team has earned the #6 seed in the highly anticipated 3C2A Regional Team Playoff. The team will travel to face off against host MiraCosta (#3 seed) and Santa Monica (#11) on Tuesday, April 30 for a chance to move on to the 3C2A state championships held at West Valley College in Saratoga, CA.
The Mounties finished in 3rd place in the South Coast Conference after dropping their final 2 matches to El Camino and Long Beach but have hopes of turning it all around in the playoffs. Mt. SAC came into the final weekend winning 15 of the last 16 matches.
The Mounties (18-4), defeated MiraCosta, 4-1 in early March but have not played Santa Monica this season but are looking forward to the opportunity.
