Coach Zack Hope enters his 6th season (2021) with the Mt. SAC Women’s Basketball Coaching Staff.  In his second stint with the team, Hope will focus on the strength and conditioning, academics and recruiting.  

Prior to returning to Mt. SAC, Hope served as an Assistant Athletics Director at Cal State Northridge (CSUN) where he handled the university athletics program internal operations and human resources.  Prior to CSUN, he was the Business Office Accountant for the U.C. Riverside Athletics Department.  

Outside of Mt. SAC, Hope has also served as Strength and Conditioning Coordinator with the West Coast Premier Basketball Academy.

Hope holds multiple higher education degrees including a B.S. in Business Administration from Virginia Union, a B.S. Degree in Hospitality Management from Cal Poly Pomona,  a M.S. Degree in Sports Management from Cal Baptist University, a M.S. Degree in Kinesiology and a Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership from the University of La Verne.    

Hope played football at Virginia Union University, in Richmond, Virginia, where he was an All-CIAA linebacker in 2009-2010. 

Hope is single and resides in Long Beach, CA.
