Athletic Trainer Desiree Gonzalez joined the Mt. SAC Athletics Department in June of 2022.  No stranger to Mt. SAC, Gonzalez served her clinical rotation with the Mounties under retired Head Athletic Trainer Andy Paulin and current Head Athletic Trainer Mike Landas.  Prior to her current position, she served Mt. SAC  and the  CMS (Claremont-McKenna, Harvey Mudd, Scripps College) Athletics Program as an hourly trainer.  She has also served on the medical staff of the Mt. SAC Relays, Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational, Foot Locker West Regional Cross Country Championships, National Pole Vault Summit (Reno, NV) and the Sand Storm Lacrosse Festival (Palm Springs/Indio, CA).

A former student-athlete herself, Gonzalez played softball at Etiwanda High School and at Chico State University.  She later went on to play professionally in France, Belgium and in the Netherlands.

Gonzalez prepped at Etiwanda High School (Fontana, CA) and received her Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Physiology (2016) from California State University at Chico.  She received her Master’s of Science Degree in Athletic Training (2019) from Chapman University.

She currently resides in Chino (CA).  In her spare time enjoys traveling, watching sports, attending concerts and spending time with family and friends.
