Luis Salazar begins his sixth season on the Mounties Coaching Staff.  A former Mountie himself, Salazar played for Mt. SAC during the 2002 and 2003 seasons, where he was a two time First Team All-Conference Player and a NSCAA All-American during his sophomore season. 

Salazar continued his career at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where he graduated with a degree in Social Science with a concentration in Criminal Justice.  Salazar is single and resides in La Puente.
