Congratulations To Former Mounties and Seattle Seahawks Rocky Seto and Bruce Irvin

(Seattle, WA) Congratulations to former Mt. SAC Football Players, Rocky Seto and Bruce Irvin, who along with the Seattle Seahawks organization, captured the Super bowl XLVIII with a dominating, 43-8, win over Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos.  Irvin, the number one draft pick of Seattle in 2012 and starting outside linebacker, had two tackles in the big game.  The game was played at Met Life Stadium, in East Rutherford New Jersey, attracted 47.6% of all homes in America and was the 5th highest overnight rating.

Seto, played for the Mounties in the mid-90's and went on to USC.  After USC, he remained on as a graduate assistant, eventually becoming the Trojans Defensive Coordinator (1999-2009), before moving to Seattle in 2010, to rejoin his mentor Pete Carroll and the Seahawks Coaching Staff.

Bruce Irvin played for Mt. SAC in 2008 and 2009, where he recorded 72 tackles and 16 sacks helping lead the Mounties to the 2009 State and National Championship.  He continued his career at West Virginia where he had an outstanding career with the Mountaineers.  In 2012, Irvin shocked the nation, when he was drafted #15 in the first round of the NFL Draft, by the Seattle Seahawks.
