Mt. SAC Women's Track & Field comes in second at SCC Prelims

(Norwalk, CA) With 59 points, the Mt. San Antonio College Women's Track and Field team is in second place through the preliminaries of the South Coast Conference Championships, which got underway on Tuesday, April 25, at Cerritos College. The host Falcons are in first with 75 points and El Camino College sits in third with 27 points.

The Mounties took first in four events, second in two, and third in seven.

Jaiden Hill (200 meters), Natalyn Membreno (800 meters), Cyvanna Bowen (100 hurdles), and Bailie Horton (pole vault) turned in first-place finishes for Mt. SAC.

The Mounties' second-place performances came from Faythe Berge (pole vault) and Amari Weatherford (400 meters).

Hill (100 meters), Tatiana Sprock (400 meters), Trista Michael (800 meters), Ingrid Tamayo (10,000 meters), Delayshia Allen (100 hurdles), Shannon Gaitan (pole vault), and McKenna Venegas (long jump) accounted for Mt. SAC's third-place finishes.
