(Walnut, CA) Mt. San Antonio College hosted the 2014 CCCAA State Track Championships, in Historic Hilmer Lodge Stadium and the teams did not disappoint. The Women's Track Team won the title, their state leading 11th overall, while the men placed 4th.  This championship extends the Mt. SAC Track and Field Programs dominance to 20 state championships between the two programs.  

The Mounties Women, who edged 2nd place Cerritos 88-75, had outstanding performances from individual champions Sarah Dunmore (100, 200 and 4x100 Relay) and Tiziana Ruiz (Pole Vault). Dunmore also earned the prestigious "Athlete of the Meet" honor, as well. Other notable marks include the championship 4 x 100 Relay team made up of Jazmine Robertson, Dunmore, Darian Puckett and Robyn Brown. 

The Men's Team had the 4x100 Relay Championship Team of Malcolm Ballard, Kyree King, Isaiah Kennedy and Kahlil Corbin, in addition to strong performances by Decathlete Miles Poullard (2nd), and Toure McCully (110 HH, 2nd).

Congratulations to Coach Kamaka, Coach Todd and the entire coaching staff, athletes and support staff for an outstanding season!
