Walnut, Calif. -- Mt. San Antonio College's Softball Program continus to prove itself as one of the strongest in the state, earning multiple honors in the 2025 South Coast Conference (SCC) awards. With a postseason host seed secured, Mt. SAC once again demonstrated excellence on the diamond.
Leading the way for the Mounties was Morgan Kneubuhler, a sophomore standout who earned First Team All-SCC honors. The versatile catcher and first baseman slugged her way to the top of the conference with an impressive .475 batting average, while leading the SCC in home runs (9) and RBIs (47) — solidifying her spot as one of California's elite offensive players.
Also earning First Team honors were sophomore Kayden Connaty and sophomore shortstop Katie Griego. Connaty excelled as both a pitcher and designated player, recording an 8-5 record with a 1.82 ERA across 96 innings while batting .439 with 11 RBIs. Griego continued to shine on both sides of the ball, hitting .404 with 25 RBIs and 14 stolen bases, anchoring the infield with solid defense and veteran leadership.
Mt. SAC's freshman class also made a strong impact, as Sarai Raygoza and Samantha Orozco were both named to the All-SCC Second Team. Raygoza, a versatile infielder, batted .368 with 10 doubles, 16 RBIs, and 16 stolen bases. Orozco posted a .394 average, collecting 27 RBIs and four triples, showcasing a knack for clutch hitting.
The Mounties also had three players recognized with Honorable Mentions: freshman pitcher/utility Samantha Vizcarra, freshman outfielder Amanda Porterfield, and sophomore outfielder Mia Martin.
With several talented all-conference selections, Mt. San Antonio College is poised for a deep playoff run as the Southern California Regional Playoffs begin. Congratulations, Mounties!
