(Walnut, CA) The Mt. San Antonio College (Mt. SAC) softball team delivered a dominating performance in an 11-0 victory over East Los Angeles College on April 18, 2023. The game, held at Mt. SAC Softball Complex, saw the Mounties record their 30th win of the season.

Mt. SAC's pitcher, Mirannda Rodriquez, was a standout player, giving up only one hit in the game. The defense was also on point, with the Mounties not committing a single error in the game.

Offensively, Mt. SAC was led by outfielder, Desiree Bravo, who went 3-for-3 with a triple, a home run, and five RBIs. Outfielder, Ashley Diaz, also had a solid performance, going 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs.

"The team played really well today," said Head Coach, Ruby Rojas. "Our pitchers did a great job of keeping the East Los Angeles batters in check, and our hitters were able to capitalize on opportunities."

With this win, Mt. SAC improves its record to 30-5 for the season. The team is set to play its next game on April 20, 2023, when it faces off against Long Beach City College.
