(Whittier, CA) The Mt. SAC Men's Water Polo team, for the third consecutive high-scoring game by the Mounties, defeated host Rio Hondo, 16-3, in a South Coast Conference game on Wednesday (Oct. 12).

With the win, Mt. SAC improved to 11-10 overall and a perfect 3-0 in the SCC.

Freshman Brandon Fabrega (12 shots, 3 Steals) led the Mounties with a game-high four goals, while Aidan Murphy (4 Stls.) and Jasper Wang added three goals each. Zack Ewing had three steals and two goals.

The Mounties took an 8-1 lead in the second period, highlighted by two goals from Ewing, and added four each in the third and fourth periods.

The Mounties travel North to San Luis Obispo for two games in the Cuesta College Invitational with two games on Saturday (Oct. 15) against Saddleback and Diablo valley.
