Mt. SAC Men's Tennis Earns First Win of the Season with 7-2 Victory Over Mt. San Jacinto

San Jacinto, Calif. – The Mt. SAC Men's Tennis Team secured their first win of the season with an exciting 7-2 victory over Mt. San Jacinto on Tuesday, February 11. The Mounties now hold a 1-2 record, while the Eagles remain winless at 0-4.

In doubles play, all three Mt. SAC teams came out on top, each winning by a score of 8-6. In singles action, Luke Jensen cruised past Michael Masarani 6-1, 6-0, and Jarred Millan defeated Landon Bristow 6-2, 6-2. Micah Welch also dominated Keith Norman 6-1, 6-0, while Jack Swisher bested Raymond Tuazon 6-0, 6-2.

Zayniddin Khusainov fought hard, but was taken down by his opponent, Joey Atallah 6-3, 6-3, and Aidan Lopez was defeated by Keith Norman 6-1, 6-0. However, both men contributed to the team's success in doubles play.

Due to rain, the Mounties' matches against Fullerton College and Orange Coast were postponed. The team will return to action on Tuesday, February 18, at 2:00 PM against College of the Desert in Palm Desert. Keep the momentum going, Mounties!
