Mt. SAC Men's Soccer and Oxnard play to tie in rematch of 2022 state title game

(Walnut, CA) In a rematch of last season's 3C2A state championship game, host Mt. San Antonio College and Oxnard College (3-0-1) played to a 1-1 non-conference tie on Tuesday, Sept. 12. The tie is the fourth of the season for the Mounties (1-1-4).

After a scoreless first half, the Condors got on the board first with a goal in the 55th minute to take a 1-0 lead. Mt. SAC knotted the score when Victor Fregoso scored on an assist from Abel Salazar in the 70th minute to conclude the game's scoring.

Goalie Daniel Ramirez played all 90 minutes for the Mounties, making three saves.

Mt. SAC travels to Oceanside for its next game, a non-conference matchup with MiraCosta College (0-2-1) on Thursday, Sept. 14, at 4 p.m.
