(Chino, CA) The Mt. SAC Men's Golf team carded a 378 to place second in an Orange Empire Conference Match on Wednesday (April 19) at Chino Creek Country Club.
College of the Desert (4-0) had the low score for a first-place finish, followed by the Mounties in second, Riverside City College, 3rd (383), Mt. San Jacinto, 4th (447), and Victor Valley College, NS.
The low medalist was Ivan Sablan of COD with a 3-under Par 69. Mt. SAC sophomore Ethan Thomas carded an even Par 72 for fourth place.
Mt. SAC freshman Keefe Pantayatiwong finished with a 73, followed by teammates Kobe Trujillo (76), Eric Fernandez (78), Brandon Winters (79), and Zion Yambot (90).
The OEC Finals are on Monday (April 24) at Los Serranos Golf Course in Chino Hills.
