(Walnut, CA) The Mt. SAC Baseball team (27--13), seeded #7, hosts the #18 Allan Hancock Bulldogs (22-18) in the 3C2A SoCal Regional Playoffs. Games are to take place on Friday, May 3rd at 2:00 pm and Saturday, May 4th at 2:00 pm with an "IF game" to follow if the series is split after the first two games.
The Mounties last faced the Bulldogs on February 19th, 2009, with Mt. SAC coming away with a 6-5 victory. The series winner will move on to the Super Regionals, double elimination. The Mounties are looking for an opportunity to make it to the 3C2A State Championship Tournament which will be hosted at Mt. SAC.
The State Championship Tournament will be held in Walnut, Calif., running from Saturday, May 25th to Monday, May 27th.
