Robert Ignacio

R.G. Ignacio rejoins the Mt. SAC Pep Squad for his second tenure as head coach, bringing with him a wealth of experience and passion for cheerleading. Previously, Ignacio was an integral part of the Mt. SAC Pep Squad from 2010 to 2012, where he made significant contributions to the team's success. Before returning to Mt. SAC, he honed his coaching skills as a cheerleading instructor with the United Spirit Association (USA) and showcased his talents as a member of the University of Hawaii Cheerleading Squad.

Ignacio is a proud alumnus of Mt. San Antonio College and the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Science. His journey in sports began at Diamond Bar High School, where he actively participated in football, soccer, and track & field, laying the foundation for his future endeavors in athletics.

Currently residing in Diamond Bar, California, Ignacio remains deeply connected to the local community. Beyond his coaching duties, he is an avid sports enthusiast, enjoying participating in and spectating various sports during his leisure time. His return to the Mt. SAC Pep Squad marks a new chapter in his coaching career, where he is poised to inspire and mentor the next generation of cheerleaders.
