Jessica Valdez serves as a full-time Academic Counselor for Student-Athletes, a position she began in the Fall of 2018.  Valdez along with others in the Academic Counseling Office, annually assist over 700 Mt. SAC Student-Athletes in their educational and athletic pursuits.

A former community college student-athlete herself, Valdez played softball at Santa Ana College.  She appreciates the opportunity to assist student-athletes in pursuing their academic and athletic goals at the community college and university levels. 

Valdez received her Associate Degree in Liberal Arts from Santa Ana College, Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services from Cal State Fullerton and Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis in Counseling from Cal State Dominguez Hills.

In her spare time, she enjoys travelling and watching baseball games.  Valdez currently resides in Anaheim with her husband Adrian and daughter Addilynn.
