(Walnut, CA) The Mt. SAC Athletics Program captured their 7th consecutive South Coast Conference (SCC) Athletic Supremacy Award. The Mounties won seven SCC Team Championships during the 2015-16 academic year to score 234.5 points and edge conference rival Cerritos College (228 points) for the title.
Mt. SAC captured SCC Team Championships in:
- Men's Cross Country
- Men's Basketball
- Women's Basketball
- Softball
- Men's Swimming & Diving
- Women's Swimming & Diving
- Men's Track and Field

The South Coast Conference was created in 1967 and is currently comprised of Cerritos, Chaffey, East Los Angeles, El Camino, Long Beach City, Los Angeles Harbor, Los Angeles Southwest, Lost Angeles Trade Tech, Mt. San Antonio, Pasadena City and Rio Hondo Colleges, and El Camino College-Compton Educational Center.
