(Walnut, CA) Mt. San Antonio College took the lead early with a run in the top of the first, but that was all the Mounties posted as Chaffey College (2-3) scored the game's remaining runs en route to a 3-1 non-conference win on Saturday, Feb. 3.

Daniel Briones (2-3, RBI) and Joel Gutierrez (2-3) were the top hitters for Mt. SAC.

Mountie starter Joey Peralta (1-1) got the loss, pitching three innings, allowing three runs (two earned), while striking out four.

Next up, Fullerton College (2-2) will visit Mt. SAC for a non-conference game on Tuesday, Feb. 6, at 3 p.m.
