Yvette Vascones joined the Mt. SAC coaching family in the spring of 2017. She previously served as an assistant coach at Cal State Los Angeles, San Bernardino Valley Community College and head coach for 4 years with the club team Legends FC.

Coach Vascones was a standout soccer player at Cal Baptist University where she was a four-time All-GSAC, two-time NAIA All-American honorable mention and 2001 NAIA All-Region selection. In 2007, she was inducted into the CBU Hall of Fame. Vascones is also listed on the Riverside Hall of Fame-Wall of Distinction for her achievements in soccer.

She is a graduate of Cal Baptist University with a B.S in Kinesiology and an M.S. in Sports Management. She enjoys spending time with her family and also enjoys hiking, the beach, camping and trying to play soccer still. Vascones and her lovely wife Kara reside in Long Beach with their two kids Rell and Jett.
