Stephany (Najarro) Gonzalez serves as an Administrative Specialist 1 within the Kinesiology, Athletics and Dance Division Office. She joined the Mt. SAC family on March of 2018 and is excited to work alongside athletic professionals, faculty and students.
Before arriving at Mt. SAC, she served four years as a Student-Assistant at the California State University Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) Advisement Center. Through this experience, Gonzalez developed a passion for higher education, hoping to leave a positive impact on the individuals she serves. As a Latina female and the first in her family to attend college, she hopes to become a mentor for students who have faced similar obstacles along the way.
Gonzalez received her bachelor of arts degree in Human Services from Cal State Dominguez Hills and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in educational counseling.
She and her husband currently reside in Baldwin Park (CA). Najarro enjoys drinking coffee and in her spare time, volunteering in her community and walking her dogs Berrin and Oreo.
