(Oxnard, CA) The Mt. San Antonio College's Women's Cross Country Team captured the 2023 Oxnard Cross Country Invitational title, on September 8th, for the third year in a row. The Mounties scored 22 points, out scoring the second place team by a whopping 61 points.
In a race with 85 runners, 11 Mounties finished in the top 30, with five placing in the top 10. Aarianna Amezcua captured the individual titles with a time of 18:59.9, while Ingrid Tamayo took third with a time of 19:27.8.
Shandy Moore, Maya Garcia, and Natalyn Membreno took the fifth, sixth and seventh spots, with times of 19:30.4, 19:30.9, and 19:37.8.
Cerritos College finished in second place, with 83 points, while Glendale College took third, with 97 points.
